Ik heb zojuist de volgende brief ontvangen van USCIS:
This office is unable to complete the processing of your application to register permanent residence or adjust status, (Form i-485) without initial information. Submit ALL the information requested below at one time. Failure to do so will result in a denial. You must submit the information within 87 (eighty-seven) days to the following address: U.S. Department of Homeland Security, PO Box 648006, Lee's Summit, MO 64064. Include this letter with your response.
You are ineligible for interim employment authorization pursuant to Title 8, code of federal regulations, section 103.2(b)(10)(ii) until ninety (90) days after the missing initial evidence is received.
All copies must be clear and legible. If you submit a document in any language other than English, it must be submitted with a full English translation. The translator must certify that the translation is complete and accurate, and that he or she is competent to translate. You must submit both the foreign language document and the English translation.

For the household member's income to be included in the household income, the household member's income must have been from a lawful source and earned while the household member was authorized to work in the United States.
in order to process your application further, submit evidence that the household member on Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, or Form I-864A Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member, was authorized to work in the United States. Examples include one of the following:

- A copy of a birth certificate issued by the proper civil athority showing birth in the United States.
- A copy of the biographical information page of the US passport.

The household member on Form I-864A, Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member, failed to submit proof of current income.
In order to process your application further, you need to submit evidence of the household member's current income.

Ik baal hier ontzettend van, want ik wil ondertussen wel weer eens aan het werk (werk al sinds januari niet vanwege de hele procedure).
De situatie is als volgt;
Mijn vrouw (die de I-130 indiende) is momenteel een student, ze heeft geen inkomen. Wij wonen op dit moment bij haar moeder, die getekend heeft voor joint-sponsor (en dus ook de I-864A heeft ingevuld). Beide, mijn vrouw en haar moeder, zijn geboren in de USA.
Bij de orriginele I-485 zaten de volgende documenten:
- Kopie van geboorte certificate van mijn vrouw en haar moeder.
- Kopie van mijn vrouw haar paspoort
- W2 van mijn vrouw haar moeder (van 2006)
- Loonstrookjes van mijn vrouw haar moeder (4 loonstrookjes van eerder dit jaar)
De documenten waar de USCIS om vraagt zaten er dus al bij, denk ik.
Ik heb de USCIS gebeld en gevraagd wat ik nu moet doen, zij gaven aan dat ik de volgende documenten (nogmaals) op zou moeten sturen:
- Kopie van mijn vrouw haar geboortecertificaat
- Kopie van haar moeders geboortecertificaat
- Kopie van paspoort van mijn vrouw (helaas heeft haar moeder geen paspoort).
- W2 van 2006
- Recente loonstrookjes
- "letter of employment" (haar moeder vraagt dit morgen aan haar werkgever)
Zou dat voldoende zijn dit keer?
Als ik bovenstaande documenten met de brief (request for initial evidence) op stuur, moet ik dan de I-864 en I864A er ook weer bij doen? of slechts de brief en de gevraagde documenten.
Ik vraag mij af of ze niet iets anders willen hebben, omdat de bovenstaande documenten dus al bij de orriginele applicatie zaten.
