Vanuit het geweldige Amerika wil ik jullie laten weten dat ik vanochtend de volgende email van Stovepipe Wells kreeg over een brand in de keuken:

As an upcoming overnight guest with us at Stovepipe Wells Village in Death Valley National Park, we wanted to inform you that due to a recent fire, we have had to temporarily close the Toll Road Restaurant and Badwater Saloon. Fortunately none of our guestrooms were impacted by the fire or smoke. However because of the damage sustained in the kitchen, there will be no food service available from the restaurant for lunch or dinner during your stay. Sandwiches and light snacks will be available at the Stovepipe Wells General Store. You may also consider visiting one of the restaurants available at Furnace Creek Ranch Resort, located approximately 24 miles from Stovepipe Wells Village. We will however be offering our overnight guests a complimentary continental breakfast.

Kreeg daar een beetje rauwe kip vorige keer, die ik weer teruggestuurd heb naar de keuken....
Kreeg overigens keurig een nieuwe, en een korting, m'n vriendin z'n diner was wel lekker, net als de salade vooraf.....

Heeft dat gevolgen dat het contractmet xanterra bijna is afgelopen?
