Betekent dit dat Europeanen vanaf september ook weer de grens tussen de VS en Canada kunnen passeren?
Volgens mij is de grens over land nog dicht. Dan zou Amerika die eerst ook moeten openen. Ik kan me voorstellen dat dat binnenkort wel zal gebeuren.
Het lijkt me dat je sowieso vanuit Canada naar de VS kunt vliegen als je ten minste 14 dagen in Canada verblijft voordat je doorvliegt naar de VS. Dezelfde constructie die je ook vandaag al zou kunnen toepassen via een hele rits aan andere landen.
Denk je dat het mogelijk zou zijn om als Europeaan de grens tussen VS en Canada over te gaan vanaf 9 aug? Of moeten wij wachten tot september?
Voor internationale reizigers is het pas mogelijk vanaf 7 september en alleen als alles de goede kant blijft uitgaan met covid.
Alleen gevaccineerde Amerikanen mogen Canada binnen vanaf 9 augustus, wij (Canadezen) mogen voorlopig nog niet naar de USA...ook nog niet vanaf 9 augustus voor zover ik weet.

Misschien is dit juist een mooi diplomatiek zetje richting de VS. Maar stiekem denk ik dat de VS niet enkel gevaccineerden wil hebben en dat dit de besluitvorming complex maakt.
