Ik heb reeds 4 reizen gemaakt in deze regio, steeds met een tent.
Ik heb niks dan positieve ervaringen. gewoon zorgen dat je de tent zoveel mogelijk gesloten houd, schoenen in de tent of even uitschudden voor je ze aansteekt.
Wij reizen ook meestal met de tent. Nog nooit problemen met enge beesten gehad. We houden wel altijd de rits goed gesloten. Alleen als we er door moeten gaat ie open.
Vandaag een boeking gedaan bij Lo Lo Mai Springs in Sedona, in de bevestigingsmail staat het volgende:
Our resort is located in a wooded area, and we share our place with many creatures: raccoons, skunks, spiders, ants, javelina, lizards, snakes and many different bugs. Most of these animals stay in the woods but sometimes critters will find their way into your campsite. If this closeness to the wilderness upsets you, please choose another location at which to spend your vacation. There is no extra charge for these critters and no refund will be given if you decide their presence is unacceptable.
Die wasbeertjes en stinkdieren komen inderdaad 's avonds. Maar alleen omdat ze gevoerd worden bij de receptie. Ik kan me zo niet herinneren dat we daar last van andere beesten hadden. Hier ons verslag.
